Dubai Chambers Launches Agentic AI Training for More Than 14,000 Member Companies

Dubai Chambers has launched specialised Agentic AI training for more than 14,000 companies represented through its Business Groups and Business Councils, supporting the wider transition of Dubai’s private sector toward advanced AI adoption.

Dubai Chambers has launched specialised training programmes designed to help more than 14,000 member companies understand and adopt Agentic AI across their business operations.

The companies are members of the Business Groups and Business Councils operating under Dubai Chamber of Commerce, which represent a wide range of industries and international business communities in the emirate.

The initiative forms part of Dubai's broader two-year programme to accelerate the transition of the private sector toward Agentic AI, launched in May 2026 under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Agentic AI refers to artificial intelligence systems capable of carrying out more complex sequences of tasks with a greater degree of autonomy than conventional AI tools. Rather than responding only to individual prompts, these systems can be designed to analyse information, plan actions, execute multiple stages of a process and support ongoing operational decision-making.

Dubai's private-sector programme is focused on helping businesses move from general experimentation with artificial intelligence toward practical applications that can improve productivity, operational efficiency and decision-making.

The new training tracks will be delivered through Dubai Chambers Academy, an integrated e-learning platform established to provide specialised programmes to the business community.

The Agentic AI courses are intended to help participating companies:

  • understand the fundamentals of Agentic AI;

  • identify appropriate business applications;

  • evaluate available tools and solutions;

  • explore opportunities to automate operational processes;

  • improve productivity and efficiency; and

  • prepare their organisations for wider AI adoption.

The emphasis is on practical business applications rather than purely technical AI education.

Dubai Chamber of Commerce's Business Groups and Business Councils form an important part of the initiative. Business Groups represent individual sectors operating within Dubai, while Business Councils represent international business communities and specific markets.

At its September quarterly meeting, Dubai Chamber of Commerce confirmed that the Agentic AI training programme would cover 14,000 companies represented through these groups and councils.

This structure allows the programme to reach companies across different industries and company sizes rather than limiting adoption to large technology businesses.

The training initiative represents only one part of Dubai's wider private-sector Agentic AI programme.

When the programme was announced in May 2026, Dubai also outlined plans to:

  • establish incubators supporting Agentic AI companies;

  • create new economic opportunities for entrepreneurs and young professionals;

  • support businesses developing and deploying Agentic AI solutions;

  • establish dedicated funding mechanisms; and

  • promote knowledge-sharing and capability development across the private sector.

Dubai Chambers subsequently established an Executive Committee for Agentic AI to oversee the implementation of these initiatives and coordinate the private-sector transition. Dubai Chambers

The initiative reflects a broader policy direction in which artificial intelligence is becoming part of Dubai's economic and business-development strategy rather than remaining primarily a technology-sector issue.

The Dubai Economic Agenda D33 includes digital transformation among the emirate's strategic priorities, while the government is simultaneously expanding AI adoption across public-sector operations.

The private-sector programme therefore signals that businesses operating in Dubai may increasingly be expected to assess how advanced AI tools can improve productivity, service delivery and competitiveness.

NUR Advisory Note

For companies operating in Dubai, the significance of this initiative is not simply access to another training programme, it indicates that AI capability is becoming an increasingly important component of business competitiveness in the UAE.

Companies should assess Agentic AI from an operational perspective rather than introducing AI simply because the technology is available. Useful areas for assessment may include:

  • finance and reporting processes;

  • customer-service workflows;

  • document processing;

  • sales administration;

  • procurement;

  • internal approvals;

  • HR administration;

  • compliance monitoring;

  • data analysis; and

  • recurring operational tasks.

Before adopting autonomous or semi-autonomous AI systems, businesses should also consider governance, data confidentiality, cybersecurity, access permissions and human oversight. The objective should not be to automate every process. It should be to identify areas where AI can produce a measurable improvement in efficiency, accuracy or decision-making without creating unnecessary operational or compliance risks.

For international businesses entering Dubai, the initiative is also another indication that the emirate is actively building an ecosystem around AI adoption across both government and the private sector.
