AML Compliance Support

Anti-money laundering compliance requires businesses within the relevant regulated sectors to understand their risk exposure, conduct appropriate customer due diligence, maintain required records and establish internal controls proportionate to their activities and risk profile.

NUR Advisors Group supports UAE businesses with practical AML compliance requirements, helping clients assess their obligations, organise compliance procedures and documentation, and establish a more structured framework for managing AML-related responsibilities.

AML Compliance Services We Provide

We support UAE businesses subject to AML obligations with practical compliance structures, documentation and procedures. Our role is to help clients understand their risk exposure, organise required controls and maintain a more consistent approach to customer due diligence, monitoring, reporting and recordkeeping.

AML Risk Assessment
We help businesses assess money-laundering, terrorist-financing and proliferation-financing risks based on their activities, customers, jurisdictions, products, services and transaction profile.

AML Policies, Controls & Procedures
Support with developing and reviewing internal AML policies, controls and procedures proportionate to the nature, size and risk profile of the business.

Customer Due Diligence & KYC Procedures
Support with establishing structured processes for customer identification, beneficial-owner verification, risk classification and ongoing due diligence.

PEP, High-Risk & Enhanced Due Diligence Procedures
We help businesses structure procedures for politically exposed persons, higher-risk customers and situations requiring enhanced due diligence and additional source-of-funds or source-of-wealth review.

goAML & Suspicious Transaction Reporting Support
Support with goAML registration, reporting-process organisation and internal escalation procedures. The decision and responsibility to submit a Suspicious Transaction Report remain with the regulated entity and its designated compliance function. The Ministry currently requires relevant DNFBPs to register with goAML.

AML Recordkeeping & Compliance Documentation
We help businesses organise customer due-diligence files, compliance records and supporting documentation in line with applicable retention requirements. The current Executive Regulations generally require relevant AML records to be retained for at least five years.

How Our AML Compliance Support Process Works

01. AML Compliance & Risk Review
We review the business model, customer types, jurisdictions, transaction profile and existing AML procedures to identify relevant obligations and potential compliance gaps.

02. Policies & Procedures Development
We help structure or review AML policies, customer due diligence procedures, risk-classification methods, escalation processes and supporting compliance documentation.

03. Implementation & Documentation
We support the practical implementation of KYC, enhanced due diligence, recordkeeping, screening and internal reporting processes, including goAML-related procedures where applicable. DNFBPs remain responsible for meeting their own reporting obligations.

04. Ongoing Compliance Review
We help businesses periodically review their AML framework, documentation and procedures so that changes in customers, activities, risk exposure or regulatory requirements can be identified and addressed.

We begin by reviewing the business activities, customer profile and existing AML controls to understand the applicable compliance requirements and potential risk areas. We then help structure the required policies, due diligence procedures, documentation and internal processes so the business can manage its AML responsibilities more consistently.

Why Work With NUR Advisors Group

AML compliance is not simply a documentation exercise. Businesses need practical procedures that reflect their activities, customer profile and risk exposure and that can be applied consistently in day-to-day operations. NUR Advisors Group helps clients translate regulatory requirements into workable compliance processes and organised documentation.

Risk-Based Compliance Approach
We help structure AML controls around the actual risk profile of the business rather than relying on generic policies that may not reflect its customers, activities or transaction patterns.

Practical Policies & Procedures
We focus on usable AML procedures that management and employees can understand, apply and maintain as part of normal business operations.

Structured Compliance Documentation
We help organise KYC, due diligence, screening, risk-assessment and recordkeeping processes so compliance evidence is easier to maintain and review.

Ongoing Compliance Support
We support businesses with periodic reviews and updates as their activities, customer base, internal processes or regulatory requirements change.
